Addie Peterson began her photography career at age 19 as a military photographer. She joined the Air National Guard, where she was trained in photography, videography, editing, and other tools to create multimedia communication products. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with minors in Art and Italian from the University of Minnesota. While studying, she also represented the school by competing at the Division I level in Women’s Rowing. This intersection of interest in photography and sports led her to pursue a career in sports photography. After her athletic experience concluded, she stayed connected to the team through photography. She also creates acrylic paintings inspired by some of her favorite photographs.
